Shadow-Grip Gloves — Apparel · Personal Issue

LCS-GLV-001

Shadow-Grip Gloves

Insulated ice-handler's gloves for ice-mine support crews. Rated to stay flexible and keep their grip against permanently shadowed cold, where an ordinary pair goes brittle. Ribbed gauntlet cuff, rubberized palm and finger pads. Sized S–XXL.

Growth Load Vest — Growth-Stage Gear · Youth Issue

LCS-PED-001

Growth Load Vest

Children raised at the south pole grow up in one-sixth of the weight their bodies expect, and bone and muscle build against a load that one-sixth gravity does not supply. The Growth Load Vest issues that missing load back — a snug padded vest with segmented weight pockets, industrial webbing and buckles, sized to the child and worn through the school day. Weights adjust upward across growth stages 1 through 6. Standard youth issue for Artemis City habitat schools.

Equipment & gear

Tools and equipment lines specified for continuous operations around Shackleton and the wider south polar network.

Regolith Muster Brush — Equipment · Airlock Decon

LCS-OPS-014

Regolith Muster Brush

Heavy-bristle decon brush, metal collar, gloved-hand grip. Issue item at every airlock threshold: crew strip suits of abrasive regolith dust before re-entry so it never rides into the habitat.

Airlock decon · Pre-ingress suit strip, all crew · Surface rated

Ration Wash Valve — Equipment · Habitat Ops

LCS-OPS-015

Ration Wash Valve

Wall-mounted metering valve for habitat wash stalls. Draws a fixed 1.5 L allowance per crew wash from reclaimed ice-mine water, then shuts — no override, no top-up. Surface rated for continuous habitat duty.

Pollination Wand — Agriculture · Crew Issue

LCS-AGR-007

Pollination Wand

No pollinators live at the south pole, so every blossom in the Artemis City grow domes is worked by hand. The Pollination Wand carries a light electrostatic charge to lift pollen from the flower and set it where the crop needs it. Machined aluminium body, soft fanned brush head, rechargeable. Standard issue for dome agriculture crews.

Core Auger — Equipment · Mine Support

LCS-OPS-030

Core Auger

Handheld powered ice-core drill for the permanently shadowed galleries. High-torque coring barrel and frost-jacketed helical bit pull clean cylindrical cores of water ice from the face — the raw material behind life support, oxygen, and propellant. Gloved-hand rated, low kickback, surface serviceable.

Off-Shift Two-Iron — Recreation · Off-Shift Issue

LCS-REC-001

Off-Shift Two-Iron

A single collapsible recreation two-iron, trajectory-calibrated for the long lunar carry — 0.16 g and no atmosphere do the rest. Habitat rec-bay play; surface drives by range permit. Off-shift morale, held to a surface standard.

Class · Equipment · Recreation issue · Earth distribution pending

Surface issue only — Earth distribution pending.

Stack-Lock Freight Crate — Equipment · Logistics

LCS-CRT-001

Stack-Lock Freight Crate

Ribbed aluminum cargo crate with a positive mechanical corner latch at every seam. On the surface, weight drops to one-sixth of Earth normal — and the friction that would ordinarily hold a tall crate stack together drops right along with it. The Stack-Lock Freight Crate does not rely on weight to stay stacked: each latch engages by hand and holds the joint by geometry, rated to full stack height in any logistics yard, on any shift.

Surge-Lock Galley Pot — Galley Equipment · Induction Issue

LCS-GAL-001

Surge-Lock Galley Pot

Induction-only stockpot for habitat galleys, where no open flame is permitted anywhere in the pressurized envelope. At one-sixth g a boil doesn't throw a fine simmering froth, it throws a handful of large, slow bubbles, and the surface can climb the rim before anyone notices. The Surge-Lock lid latches down over a single metered pressure-relief port, venting steam through one controlled channel and holding the boil below the rim through a full galley shift. Reinforced viewport for a visual check without breaking the latch.

Fines-Catch Filter Cartridge — Equipment · HVAC Filtration

LCS-OPS-016

Fines-Catch Filter Cartridge

Regolith fines are glass-sharp and don't settle the way ordinary dust does — in one-sixth gravity, disturbed grit can stay airborne for hours after a dusty ingress. The Fines-Catch Filter Cartridge is the habitat HVAC line's last defense: dense pleated media rated to pull respirable fines out of recirculated air before crew lungs do the filtering instead. Swap-in cylindrical cartridge, tool-free housing fit, surface rated for continuous habitat duty.

Haul-Down Cargo Net — Rover & Surface Transport · Cargo Restraint

LCS-RVR-009

Haul-Down Cargo Net

Ratchet-tensioned cargo net for rover flatbeds working the city-to-mine haul routes. The washboard regolith road throws an unsecured load into a long, slow arc — at one-sixth gravity a jolt that would settle on Earth pitches a crate meters past the tailgate. The Haul-Down cinches to the bed hooks and holds the whole manifest flat against the deck for the run: nothing bounces, nothing walks, nothing arrives short. Heavy abrasion-rated webbing, steel ratchet hardware, gloved-hand rated. Surface rated for continuous transport duty.

Breach Tape — Workshop & Repair · Pressure Issue

LCS-RPR-001

Breach Tape

Vacuum-rated repair tape for field pressure patches. A crew-applied strip bonds cold against a scuffed panel, a seam, or a hairline crack and holds a working seal in hard vacuum — long enough to finish the shift, long enough to reach the next resupply window. Aggressive backing, gloved-hand tear, no cure lamp or heat gun required. One roll issued to every repair kit. Resupply is a window away; the seal is not.

Earthlink Latency Handset — Comms & Electronics · Earthlink · Personal Issue

LCS-COM-001

Earthlink Latency Handset

A corded habitat handset for calling the waiting room. Earth sits 1.3 light-seconds off, so a reply always lands about two and a half seconds after you stop talking — the Earthlink Latency Handset is built around that gap rather than against it. A teal indicator ring holds lit while your voice is still crossing, and drops when the reply is due, so you stop talking over the people you left behind. Rugged matte-grey unit, coiled cord, bulkhead cradle. Habitat comms nook issue.

Class · Comms & Electronics · Surface issue · Earth distribution pending

Surface issue only — Earth distribution pending.

Traverse Beacon — Equipment · Surface Navigation

LCS-NAV-001

Traverse Beacon

Between the yard and the mine head there is no road — only regolith, knife-edge shadow, and a night that lasts fourteen days. The Traverse Beacon marks the route: self-anchoring fluted spike, retroreflective band for headlamp pickup, and a teal lamp head that holds through the full lunar night on one charge. Planted by hand or from a moving rover; recovered and recharged at either end. Issued by the case; routes are walked in pairs.

Shackleton Melt — Supplies · Ration Format · Hydration Issue

LCS-HYD-001

Shackleton Melt

Water harvested from permanently shadowed deposits at the south pole, processed and bottled as a crew hydration ration. Insulated aluminum bottle, LOT-controlled fill, surface rated for habitat, transit, and mine-gallery use. Same water that keeps the ice mines running — issued back to the crews who mine it.

Bound-Limiter Tether — Pet Supplies · Habitat Issue

LCS-PET-014

Bound-Limiter Tether

A padded collar, a wall-mounted anchor point, and an elastic-corded lead sized to your corridor's ceiling clearance. One-sixth gravity turns an ordinary leap into a long, slow arc — the Bound-Limiter Tether catches the top of that arc before your companion animal reaches the cable runs, light fixtures, or overhead panel edge. Rated for dogs and other habitat pets of comparable mass. Does not prevent the leap; prevents the incident report.

Blowout Patch Kit — Medical · Duty-Belt First Aid

LCS-MED-001

Blowout Patch Kit

Belt-carried suit-breach first aid: three foil-backed self-sealing patches and a cuff pressure gauge in a gloved-hand-openable pouch. A micro-puncture is a maintenance event if it is sealed where it happened, and a clinic admission if it is not. One hand, one patch, one seal. Issued to all EVA-rated crew; the habitat clinic restocks used units without paperwork, because we would rather count patches than incidents.

Fixtures and fittings for permanent quarters — the difference between a shift posting and a home address.

Sloshless Aquarium — Habitat Fittings · Pet Support

Sloshless Aquarium

Baffled and ballasted aquarium rated for one-sixth gravity. Water stays where we put it. Fish not included.

Creep-Lock Crew Berth — Habitat Furniture · Sleep Issue

LCS-BNK-004

Creep-Lock Crew Berth

Stackable fold-flush wall bunk for small pressurized quarters. Tensioned restraint webbing holds bedding in place through a full sleep cycle — at one-sixth g, friction is one-sixth too, and unsecured mattresses creep.

Duty Cycle Lamp — Habitat Fittings · Circadian Lighting · Personal Issue

LCS-LGT-001

Duty Cycle Lamp

Circadian habitat lamp that holds a fixed 24-hour cycle — amber dawn, work-white noon, amber dusk — no matter what the polar sun is doing outside. Issued per berth. The window keeps its own hours; this keeps yours.
